positions

Can anyone suggest physical positions I might spend some time in to encourage twin A to put more pressure on my cervix? The presenting twin is vertex, and I think he's been "facing back" at some of the recent ultrasounds/BPPs, but in general he's lying curved along my right side. I don't think his spine is literally lying along my belly, but rather more curving along my side. Having the other twin fit in like a puzzle piece on the other side (but breech) probably influences things.

Anyway, would hands/knees help with something, letting the spine drop forward? What about when I sleep? (I try to alternate sides now, when I wake up, but I wonder if we go "backwards" as far as optimal positioning when I sleep or lie down. Ugh.) I have heard people mention doing hand/knees position supported over a birth ball, but how does that actually work? (What part of you is "over" the birth ball?)

I put just my chest over the ball and put my arms however comfy. I watch TV like this as well. Also, if you have a boppy pillow I put it down and a regular pillow at the top of it and lay on my belly, but it is supported and feels great.
