Please help me, skin care questions... what do you use, home made recommendations

HI,
I'm in late 30s (wow, I can't believe I'm LATE 30s, anyhow...) and am looking to change cosmetic brands that I currently use (Walmart brand SPF 15 moisturizer and LOREAL toner).
I don't wash my face morning and evening and when I wash, I use apricot scrub. I wanted to see what brands or kinds of cream I can use and was wondering a few things...
What do you all use for daily skin care regimen? Do you all use night cream, eye cream, anti wrinkle cream and all?
What can I use to make safe, beneficial home made version of moisturizer, cleanser? I read someone use honey and brown sugar for face scrub, is there something I can replace honey with? What does honey do to your face (any benefits for using it)?
FYI, I live in FL with lots of sun. Do I really need SPF 30 or higher lotion in addition to moisturizer everyday? (I don't care for those lotion since they are oily....) Any home made versions I can make?
What brands do you recommend for natural, less chemical cosmetics? I just visited everyday minerals but they don't seem to carry moisturizers or toners.
Please help...
TIA

I wrote a blog about it. I hope this answers some of your questions.

ETA: I haven't been able to find a supplier for olive squalene, so I switched to sunflower oil. It's a bit thicker but still does the job!

as did I! just one question, where do you get the olive squalene (or is it olive oil & squalene....)

I used to get olive squalene from thesage.com, but they only carry squalAne now, which is a bit more expensive. It lasts a while, but I wanted to try something cheaper before I waste precious squalane on just removing makeup. Sunflower oil's been working good as far as removing makeup, but it's hard to remove from skin. Next time I'll try safflower oil.
