Have you ever dyed with....

the spray on tie-dye dyes? I got to try them out on tshirts for Cy at a friends house last week and they are so bright, and easy to use. So, I was just curious if anyone had dyed yarn with them before. I think I may have to try it out

no but you can dye with Kool Aid, if and only if you're using animal fibers (e.g. wool). I've done a lot of playing around with that (for diaper covers) and it's super easy and something safe you can do with the kids. I hadn't thought of spray painting dye, maybe I will experiment with some kool aid and a spray bottle!
