hCG shots to induce ovulation

Hi girls...

I tried to call my RE this afternoon to ask this question, but the nurse didn't return my call...now I'm going nuts.

So, I had a hCG shot 6.5 days ago to induce ovulation. Then I went home and ordered some ICs. Well, they arrived today and I just *had* to take one.

I saw a faint line after about 5 minutes. I had a feeling that I would, since I had the shot 6.5 days ago. However, I've been feeling really crampy and funky...just wondering how long it takes for the hCG to leave your system.

If it makes any difference, I had 10,000 units of Novarel.

Thanks!

I've always found that the shot is out of your system by 9-10 days. Some folks start testing as early as you're at in order to see when the shot is out of their system, so that if they get a bfp on 11 or 12dpo, they know it's the real deal. Good Luck!!!

LiamsMommy31905 ~ I have read that it takes 10 days to get out of your system. If your have a bunch of cheap tests, you could poas from here on out. Then at some point you'd see the negative when the trigger shot is truely gone. But alsa that is something I do that pretty much puts me on the crazy train for the 2ww. You know, 6.5 day later cramping sounds like implantation!!!!!!!!

I am : for you to get a bfp. I remember how much you've been thru.

My guess would be that its still the trigger, wait 2 days then take another test. I usually tested until I saw a negative then waited 2 days and started testing again, with hopes of seeing a BFP!!
