My babies have arrived

Thread Starter
I'm an infrequent poster, but avid reader. I just had to share. My babies, William and Juliana, arrived on July 1 at 35w, 4d after my water broke prematurely. We've had some preemie feeding challenges - Juliana was having a hard time sucking, but we all came home together and the babies are now thriving. I've had some mommy shock and baby blues, but I know things will get better. I'm a first time mom and I've learned that I really do need to sleep when the babies are sleeping. Lack of sleep does bad things to me!

Wow, Congrats on your Twins : : I'm so glad you all got to come home together, and I hope the feeding challenges are beginning to resolve. And yes, sleep when you can - it's the best thing you can do for yourself and your babies.

Congratulations Mama!!

My son was a preemie and I experienced a little bit of depression while he was in the NICU. It's not an easy thing to deal with the challanges that come with preemies, but you will be living easier days before you know it.
