I haven't posted in so long...having a rough day...very emo

Have a terrible itchy rash on my hands and feet!!!!!!!!!!!!! anyone else with this?

I'm still here, 39+4. I know I shouldn't be so antsy, but, with my son being a 42 weeker, and then an unplanned c-section I'm just sooooo ready to get the show on the road.

Plus, I'm one of those horribly annoying, obsessive planners and giving myself over to something I just have no control of is hard for me. For whatever reason the idea of just letting go in labor is fine, because, I know in the end the baby will come out, but , the waiting, the waiting.....*pulling my hair out*

still here at 37+1. I know I should hang my head in shame next to some of you girls:but I've never been this pregnant before, and no one really expected me to go much further than 37w, so the fact that I am still around is very strange. I've been getting all the calls for two weeks now. ugh, and it's SO hot and I'm SO big, and I am bored out of my skull! My midwife was so sure that I'd go early that she scheduled a trip for the week before my due date. (I told her to go ahead). OMG...I've been trying so hard to get to term (14years worth of thinking on this one....) Now that I'm here, I'm done! Let's get the show on the road!

I'm glad to be here at 38w5d--still feeling fine (mostly), and pleased that DH has finished his big exam out of town, and is now back home. So now I don't have to worry about birthing with him here and/or interrupting his 2 day test with labor. All that's left to do is finish up the work projects I'm supposed to have done, and I'll be "ready". Until then, I can't truly look forward to birthing, because I'm too stressed about leaving some stuff undone. So, I'm here at the computer on a lovely Sunday evening, doing work, and STILL (grumpily) avoiding labor inducing activities (like sex, for example. lol).

Still here at 40w3d

I have an appt with my MW on Tuesday and a biophysical profile scheduled for later in the week. I'm hoping I'll go into labor before then and won't have to go to it!

We had to go through fertility treatments for this little one. I want so badly to have a natural birth, especially because I wasn't able to get pregnant naturally. Come on baby...make your debut already!!!

i am going to have to do something to stop focusing on the 'when' of this birth. before i go insane. dh has tomorrow off, so i may spend it keeping busy and trying to repeat to myself: it will happen! of course, i write that hoping fervently that i am busy with a newborn by tomorrow...
