I need them to be gone! Without nasty chemicals. I have tried sprinkling cayenne pepper and spraying vinegar around where I see them and they are still there. I am constantly wiping the counters and cleaning out the sink. Does anyone know of anything that really works? TIA.

Ant traps. The chemicals stay inside. The ants eat the chemicals and take them back to the nest to kill the queen.
I'm all for natural but the only thing that gets rid of ants in my house is ant traps. takes about a day or 2.

I put cornmeal in the cracks they were coming out of. They can't digest it and it kills them. I also wiped down the counters with tea trea oil and I think this is what worked the best. I still get some straglers every once in awhile but all I have to do is open the TTO bottle and they run - seriously!

Terro ant traps. I had ants galore a few weeks ago and they would not stop. They were coming in all different rooms and I tried everything even poison they kept coming back. My DS was terrified and screaming his head off.
TERRO ANT BAITS.
They are just borax and sugar water. THEY RULE. Can get them at Lowe's, Home Depot, grocery stores.
Warning: When you put it out it will look like you are getting more ants and you will think I played a trick on you. Just sit tight and watch the ant parade because they will be GONE the next day and they won't come back.
