What does "no iron" mean?

... In terms of chemical treatments, etc. Lands End has flannel sheets that are advertised as "no-iron" but also as 100% cotton. Are they treated with something icky? And who on earth would iron sheets, anyways?

I know I've read on Debra Lynn Dadd's site that if it says it's "wrinkle free" or something to that effect that it has formaldehyde on it. HTH.

Gross, : thank you. Who on earth would rather sleep on formaldehyde than on wrinkly sheets?

I myself have never understood why anyone would iron sheets. Maybe a long time ago there was a benefit???

my mom irons sheets. for what its worth, its actually kind of nice to sleep on ironed sheets, but I would never do it because I'm far to lazy and its not that nice!
