Needing Loving Vibes

My friend who lost her son in December just got horrible news. Her father was killed in an accident while on vacation in Florida.

Sometimes I'm struck at the randomness of life. How so many horrible things can happen to one truly beautifull person. I don't know how she's going to get through this - my heart is breaking for her. I wish I could just hold her and take away some of the pain. But, I realize that it's her pain to feel and she needs to live it.

Sorry to babble on, just feeling very, very sad and lost...

I have thought alot about your friend and Jacob and now this. The "Why's" just come rolling through our hearts and minds. All I can say is how deeply saddened and sorry I am for you and your dear friend. Multiple losses (especially so close together) make grief even more intense. You are such a dear loving soul and are so gentle~let your heart guide you. It can be so difficult to "stand by" and watch a loved one go through grief. Hugs to you and her.:better

She's having a memorial service tomorrow. She called yesterday to invite me and I felt really honored. She seems so lost now. I just want to hold her up, but she just keeps falling.

Why, why do things like this happen? Her mother is also very ill and I look at her now - she's so frail.

Thanks for listening. Just feeling lost in it all. She wasn't a close friend before all this, but we've been growing closer and I just can't understand what's happening to her.
