So who is 40 weeks and counting?

Yesterday was my due date schmue date. Just wondering who else is left in the 40+ weeker club.

I have an appt tomorrow with my midwife, so we'll see what the plan is. I wouldn't induce before 42 (or maybe not even after) unless there was a real medical reason to. Although I found a bottle of castor oil in the pantry last night... shudder.....

So how are you all doing? Please tell me you're as lazy as I am.

I'm still here at 40+3. No plans to induce either.

If I go by "my" DD than we are the same

I have a midwife appointment today that I've thought about cancelling because I'm just not feeling good but I'm still gonna go and get it out of the way.

Totally lazy, DH asked me to clean the living room so he and a coworker can come move it all (I'd help him but the TV and dresser it's on are too heavy for me). And I'm thinking about calling him and telling him I can't. I need to lay down for an hour before we have to go...

However myself and a couple others are going out for our local "labour" pasta tomorrow night and that combined with the full moon and maybe some other induction techniques we can get things going

40+1 here. Phone is already ringing off the hook. Trying to be patient and relaxed. Hoping the full moon helps out a bit.

Contracting away in Margaitaville with no sign of active labor.

I'll be 41 weeks on Friday. I have a gift certificate for a Ben & Jerry's cake that expires soon. My plan is to order it to say:
Happy
41 Weeks
Birthday

And, then, depending on if we're celebrating 41 weeks or my baby's Birthday, we'll just scrape off the wrong message.

I am 40w1d based on o (I was charting). I am 40 weeks tomorrow based on the 7 week u/s measurement. I am trying to be patient but it is getting tougher by the day. I had signs of labor earlier this week but they seem to have completely disappeared which makes it even more frustrating.

40w3d here too! Patiently waiting at this point, not thinking that anything is going to happen anytime soon. Though I sure would like some sort of a sign of when things are going to happen!

41 weeks tomorrow. I've been doing a lot of lurking on the boards recently, not much posting. I have been starting to feel quite crazy the past couple of days, and I went to go get an acupuncture treatment today, my first one ever, and it was absolutely amazing. They did craniosacral as well as bone-setting (adjustments on me.) Even if it doesn't put me into labor, I feel a lot clearer at the least.

40+4 here.

Loosing my every loving mind. Lazy as all get out. I took the toddler to McD's today to play. And pizza for supper.

40+6 today and still here...sigh...contracting consistently and waiting. Saw the chiro and the midwife both today and they both think labor is imminent and I will go today or tomorrow. I'm not so sure. I'm 3cm and 70% effaced and very soft. Spotting. But still waiting...

41 weeks 1 day.

mw appt today, am 3.5 cm dilated and she stripped membranes (at my request) to encourage things to get going, have some bloody show,(probably from the stripping) and I'm super crampy. DH will be home in 30 min or so and then we are having a quick dinner and heading over to the rec center to walk indoors around the track, its almost 6pm and our temp is still in the high 90s and I don't wanna walk outside!

I'm seeing my mw again on Sat morning, where we will check progress again and strip again if needed, hopefully I'll have baby before then! Shes predicting Friday night

I'm only 38 weeks, but I'd be very curious how many of you are still around after the full moon Friday/this weekend

I want to join the club! I'm 41w today and waiting patiently. Truthfully, I'm counting on the full moon, which I called months ago. So we'll see if it works.

I'm lazy, but becoming a little antsy at home. I think I had my version of nesting today (bought some flannel and made cloth wipes, created a promotional piece for my business, did a separate promotional mailing, made rice pudding, handled bills/receipts, etc.) Maybe tomorrow I'll bake for the freezer. To cope with anything challenging, I have to DO something, related or not.

My midwife told me yesterday I'm handling my baby's extended stay well - that she couldn't have waited with her kids. I just figure there is no point in getting wound up about it: tension creates tension which doesn't put me closer to the birth.

Had a lot of what felt like period pain overnight, but it disappeared in the morning. Hopefully it means something...
