I just switched to Dr. Holzwarth at Prevea St. Mary's site. So Far so good. My son is only 7 weeks old. He was losing weight rapidly before my milk came in- while Dr. H said I could give him 1 oz of formula after each feeding if it made me feel better but I didn't "have" to. (of course I didn't). I took my son for a 1 month check and he mentioned that at the next checkup he would be getting such and such shots. I said "actually no we won't be doing those". He didn't flinch- he said ok let me just make a note of that. So we haven't actually needed any shots yet but it looks like he will not give us to hard of a time. I see him again for a 3 month check so I will update then. Also I really liked how he held and interacted with my son and did not talk "down" to me at all.

I interviewed Dr. Neuhaus and she is defiantly not no or even delayed vax friendly just as an FYI

i see fuglestad in howard. probably the same distance for me as the practice is from allouez. the office is just west of the Y on riverview. he's awesome. he doesn't agree with our decision to not vax, but he respects it and hasn't given us a hard time about it.

I live in Howard and Dr. Holzwarth is on the west side of Green Bay.

I took my son for his 2mo checkup and Dr. H did an exam asked a few questions about development and there was a form to fill out to rate his development. Some of the teaching papers they gave me had info I didn't agree with but that is to be expected. He did make the comment that I should give my son (who is bf) a bottle every now and then. I didn't question the comment but that was the only off putting thing he said. I think without me even telling him he has picked up on the fact that I try to do things naturally and seems to respect that. At the end of the visit he said "are you doing shots today?" I said 'no". He said "I didn't think so" and that was the end of it. I am really liking him so far and have set up appointments for my older kids.
