how many cuts of newborn/small diapers covers can I get from a yard of fabric?

Obviously it's going to depend on the pattern and width of fabric. I just need a rough estimate so I can figure out if it's worth it for me to attempt to make covers myself or just keep an eye out for cheap used ones.

I think about four to six with one layer of PUL. Half that if you are doing two layers of fleece.

I think that is about right. I am still new to making them and haven't memorized it.

I can get 6 of my xl pattern (or one size pattern) out of a yard of pul, so for a nb/small I would say 8-10 for sure.
