bamboo french terry

I am making some fitted t-shirt dipes and have some bamboo french terry that I will be using for a trifold lay in soaker. I've decided that the dipes are better with 3 layers and am now wondering if one of the layers should be the bamboo, and if so, should it be inner, hidden, or would it replace 2 t-shirt layers (it's thicker then t-shirt)?

Also, for the trifold, is 2 layers enough as it will fold into 6 layers?

I like the feel of the bamboo - I would put it on the inside, myself. Or if you put it on the outside, it would snappi very nicely.

Just beware, it will stretch a lot as you sew. I didn't pin mine enough when I sewed my dipe and it ended up all crooked... lol
