price of menopur

Does anyone know the current going rate for menopur? We're going to try a couple more cycles of iui, or possibly another ivf cycle, and I want to start saving some $ now to pay for our meds. We have 1 box and 1 vial of menopur leftover, so we're going to use that for our iui (instead of gonal, which is what we were using for iui)

Last fall, it was cheaper at Schrafts (and I have the vip membership) but I just wanted to check prices so we don't go into fertility drug debt :

It is expensive. what is Schrafts? I don't know how much Menopur is, but the recombinant kind is $1000 for 900 units!

It's freakin' liquid gold : When I talked to our insurance company re: copay, the guy told me that if it hadn't been covered, it would've cost us $7,500 for 20 vials. Fortunately it was covered, so I don't know what the "real" cost of it is. Hopefully a lot less.
