Two pit labors...didn't last but a few hours before I was begging for the epi! My whole body hurt.

Natural labor....23 hours and I could have gone another 23. I was laughing and smiling and saying "this is SO EASY"!

There is no comparison!

My first birth was induced. My second labor started on its own. About halfway through the Dr decided I needed pit (I'm guessing he wanted to get back to his holiday weekend). My contx went from managable to feeling like I was hit by a truck in under 15 minutes. I ended up with postpartum hemmoraging ("this is why we don't give birth at home" the Dr says There is no way any Dr will ever get anywhere close to me with pitocin again--that stuff is evil.

I had my first 2 all natural and #3 was in induction. It was not much different for me but then again they never turned it up super high. I had him less then 4 hrs after they started the pit. It was however the first one my water broke on and THAT made it a lot more intense but it was only 45 mins till he was born after that.

Such a huge difference for me. With DS they were so so hard every time, and they were coupling so they turned my pit UP. I felt like I was going to die.
With DD I was up and moving and in my OWN home. )
