42 weeks exactly with my son. He was a c-section do to alternating between transverse and breech, but, we waited and waited and waited for labor to start on it's own. My water broke and contractions started exactly 2 weeks after his EDD.

Hoping this one decides to be a little earlier!

4 or 6 days after (discrepency in due date!)

ds#2 would've been late too had I not been induced on my due date..

this one will prob be late too!!!!

7 days early

At the time we thought he was a day late. But when I read Taking Charge of Your Fertility, I figured out the date was wrong. Not that one day makes much difference, but at least I know he came on his due date. So did my second. Now my third....

dd was due on 1/31/06 and was finally born on 2/16/06. that was one loooooooong wait, but entirely worthwhile.

Two months early. I'm always throwing off the curve.

I was induced a week after I was due - but knowing what I do now about my cycles, she was probably right on time. I have very long cycles and it's likely that the due date was too early. She was 7lbs7oz when born.

3 days after dd went into labor 2 days after and she arrived next day!

i am at 40 wks 1 day with this one.

DD was 41.5 wks. It was a Sunday (Easter Sunday 2004 ) and they were going to start inducing "lightly" on Monday. But... my water broke that afternoon and we went to the hospital only to find out 8 hrs later that she was breech and ended up having a c/seciton.

My first arrived at 41+6. A day shy of 42 weeks. Naturally occuring labour.

4 looong days late.
Mine was before but she was taken before labor started.

Statistically I think its 41w 5d for first time moms, right?

over a week late I was induced/enhanced.

39 weeks - I charted so I was very sure of my dates - also we only dtd 2 times before ovulation and there is no way I conceived from one of them (too far away from ovulation, a week+). However, when she was born, all the nurses said she looked overdue because she had no vernix and was very wrinkly and dry - fingernails and toenails were long as well. So maybe I just cook them fast?

Something that has never been clear to me...

If the "average" is 41 + 5 for first time moms, how might that apply to a first time natural birth, second time mom? My first was C/S, so as far as birthing goes, I feel like a first time mom, ya know? I'm not sure if it has to do more with the uterus or the cervix...or? Anyone have an idea?

My DD was born exactly 14 days before my EDD. (DS was born 13 days before...)
my first was born at 37+0, my second at 37+2. this one...38+1 and counting...
I haven't delivered yet, but at 42 weeks 2 day I can safely say "after". LOL

Statistically the average for first time moms is 41w1d from what I've read...

Though, the poll results here are somewhat encouraging .
