Hi, I buy Herbs for Kids gum-o-mille, for us it works great! Even on adults really. Its a temporary relief but I will warn you my son at times hates this stuff! Mostly because its a warming effect that just takes them by surprise. It has clove oil mostly but great stuff. At times he will let me do it while he was cutting molars. I just dab it on my finger and start rubbing as quickly as possible around his gums.

I know clove oil works wonders whenever I have tooth or gum aches, but I would heavily dilute it for a child simply because the taste and burn can be overwhelming. I know there is also a homeopathic commercial product by the same people that make gripe water as well.
