I felt ancient with my son who I had at 38. I feel much less ancient with this one who will be born when I'm 41.

I'm 35 now, but will be 36 before the baby is born. I HATE being classified as an 'elderly multigravida'! AND, I'm declining all their high-risk BS tests... For goodness sakes, I just did this 2 years ago, I'm not exactly dusty at it! LOL

I'm 35, I'll be 35 when the baby is born. I'm not sure how to vote, given that 35 is on the list twice.

Maybe you can vote for a young 35 or an old 35?

I'm 29,expecting "Number five alive!" Yes, I am old enough to know "short circut"....and Ally Sheedy.....I'm an old 29.

I'm 37, will be 38 a month or so after this babe arrives.

With my first, one of my doctor's (at a PREVIOUS practice, although not for this reason) said to me the first time he saw me "well, you started late" I was both andlaughup at him. But I was nice and boring despite being "advanced maternal age".

I would have slapped him. You were only 35!!!!

I felt sheepish at my nuchal translucency u/s - I'm 41.5 and having 3rd baby at home. He said to us: now that you're having #3, #4 will be just around the corner! I scoffed due to my age, and he was practically pushing us to keep going as long as I feel like. (he has 4 kids) Well, I think this is as far as I'm pushing it. I look about 10 years younger than I am, but that's not the same. Anyway, he was very friendly about it and not at all concerned about my age, even though he is a specialist who deals mainly with high risk, advanced maternal age, all the time.
