Clomid and provera combo- tell me your experiences

Hey- this is the course of treatment that I may have ahead of me. Just wondering if you all could share your experiences. We have done provera and I am familar with the side effects of that, but I am just wondering how effective and what side effects there are when it is coupled with clomid. Does this change the days when you should take the clomid. So may questions...

I took the clomid on cd 5-9. I really didn't have a lot of side effects & I also only did one cycle & it worked.

I have taken Provera and then 50 mg Clomid in the next cycle. My side effects from the Provera were bloating, store breasts and horrible mood swings. Clomid was hot flashes ( at least 5x a day the entire cycle) bloating, very painful ovaries, blurred vision and headaches. I'm not sure if was the Provera that made it worse or not. I'm taking Prometrium now instead of Provera and its much more gentle.

I am on my third cycle of clomid, and the first without taking provera. i never really noticed any symptoms from the provera, but with the clomid i had some hot flashes and was pretty moody. i don't know if it was the clomid or a combination of the two. this time my period started by itself (yea!!) and so far i haven't had any symptoms from the clomid. it may just be because today is only the third day and i haven't taken today's dose, or it may be because this time around i only took the clomid. i guess only time will tell!
