Those short cords make for crazy labors, don't they? Isabella's cord wasn't wrapped it was just really, REALLY short and I had 8 weeks of prodromal labor and 33 hours of labor and 2 hours of non-progressive pushing. She was my fourth, too!

Congratulations!!!!

Congratulations!!!!! I'm so excited and happy for you. I logged on specifically to see if you had had your baby yet Apart from the pushing it sounds like a really peaceful birth and I'm glad that you were able to get him disentangled without incident. Enjoy your new little one.

Welcome baby Roman!

We all knew you were crowning when you disappeared for a bit. Your pushing scenario sounds so much like mine, down to the midwife saying the same phrase... except I pushed for 4 or 5 hours more, .
