I have a bedwetting question...
My ds just stopped wearing pull ups when he was 4, he is turning 5 this month so this is a new concept to us.
But he still wears (and uses!) pull ups at night.
Am I supposed to be doing something to teach him? Or will he just work it out on his own?
He doesnt want to all the time but every time we go without he wakes up soaking wet. His body just doesnt wake him yet.
He sleeps in my king bed so its kind of a PITA to change the sheets on, but I also want to be sensitive to him.
Advice?
PS_what do your CD kids wear when they are wetting the bed at older ages? Or is there some kind of special set up you do?

: They work well and if he's dry, then we use them again. I found some really cool waterproof padlike material at joann fabric and we use that under his bottom sheet. I don't wake him in the night to use the bathroom and I don't do any type of "nighttime" toilet training. I feel when his bladder is large enough he will be dry at night and he's completely normal. Also bedwetting is hereditary and DH and I both had issues.
