Do you swallow them frozen or raw? I was even wondering about dehydrating them. What do all of you experienced liver swallowers do?

How did the granola turn out? I tried a TF type recipe with so-so results.

I swaller mine frozen. Some people get really icked out by the coldness, but it doesn't bother me a bit.

Super yummy!
I used rolled oats, honey, maple sugar, salt, and a dash of cinnamon. Spread it in a pan and dried it. Then I tossed it in a few crispy nuts as I was breaking it up. It was really good.
In the past I've used steel cut oats but it always turns out tooth-breaking hard. This was much better. I wasn't keen on using rolled oats but my dh likes to eat granola and this way I could control the ingredients. All the store bought stuff had either wheat, cane sugar or soy of some sort. I could never find any that met my TF standards.

So you didn't soak the oats first? The TF recipe I tried had soaking the oats as step in the process and it made the oats clump together rather than spread thin for the baking/drying so the consistency of the finished product was a bit weird.

I did soak them but not for as long as I do steel cut. Rolled oats aren't raw so there's no point in soaking them overnight. I soaked them for about an hour or so just to soften them up so the granola wouldn't taste like particle board. They didn't clump or anything. I had no trouble spreading them in the pan.
