I see a lot of threads in this forum about "What [fill in the blank] product should I buy for cleaning/cleansing, etc." I was just posting in another thread about household cleaners and how I no longer buy any "natural" cleaning products, instead opting to use baking soda/vinegar/borax/Dr. Bronners for cleaning and a castille shampoo bar/tooth soap/olive oil/baking soda for cleansing/moisturizing/deodorant. I feel really good about this for myself and my family. The last straw for me with buying 'natural" cleaning products was discovering that even though they seemed better and were available from places like my co-op and Whole Foods, they still likely had carcinogens in them: You can read about a study conducted by the Organic Consumers Association by following the link:

My frustration mounted because not all products like detergent and dishwasher powder even list their ingredients because they are proprietary - so how could you even know with some of them.
So I just thought I'd throw this onto the fire for your consideration the next time you are in need of replacing some product in your home.
