I read that lumbar produced for decks before 2004 were pressure treated with CCA(chromated copper arsenate), which is highly toxic.

I have a 20yr old deck and I can't replace it as I'm renting. So I want to cover it with something.
I wonder now it is safe to use new wood products for deck?
I saw interlocking cedar wood joint deck in outdoor depot. It is supposed to be left out in the rain too. Is this treatment safe then? They are made in China though. I couldn't get any info from the store. I might be able to find the contact no for the manufacturer from the headquarter.
