pre-schooler and vitamins?

Does your pre-schooler take vitamins? Which kind and why did you choose that kind?

DS usually eats a pretty good and balanced diet, but I worry about enough calcium and iron and making sure he gets other vitamins and stuff and I figured a vitamin couldn't hurt .

My 4 y.o. takes the Costco (Kirkland) brand kids multi-vitamin. We halved it until he turned 4, per the instructions. I bought them because they were inexpensive and seemed to have the vitamins and minerals needed for his age, but I am planning to look at a more natural brand, without dyes.
We chose not to do the gummy ones because both my kids have had choking issues with food in the past.
I did the liquid ones with my younger child until she turned two. Now she gets half of the same vitamins her older brother takes.

We do these:

Because they *taste good,* and are free of artificial colors and preservatives - both of my dc's will taste these. HOWEVER, you will notice that they are not particularily high in calcium.
