How long did it take for the HCG trigger shot to leave your system?

Howdy y'all,

I'm 12dpiui and 13days-post-hCG-trigger-shot, I know it varies by person, but for those of you who had the hCG trigger shots, how long did you wait to POAS?

TIA!

I POAS at 7dpo (8dp-trigger shot) and it was negative. I was fully expecting a positive since I thought it'd still be in my system, but no!

I'm 9dp3dt, so almost 14dp trigger shot, and I am not going to POAS just in case it is still in my system, but on the other hand, in case my HCG levels aren't high enough to be read on a stick yet.... so I'll wait til my beta, but best of luck whichever you decide to do!

mine is usually gone 7-8 dpo or 9-10 days past the trigger shot.

For my 6 IUI's I did, the trigger would be gone in 7-8 days (neg preg test) for my 2 IVF cycles though, the trigger was always positive until 9-10 after. Good luck to you!

This is why some women POAS to see the trigger leave their system and then POAS later on to see if they get a BFP (which would be the real thing, of course). Most women, their bodies rid 1,000iu per day.

Yes, I know... but I told myself I wasn't going to test until 15dpiui (mostly because I didn't believe it was going to work), then around 11dpiui I started feeling a little different than usual and I couldn't hold out. I'm not so much with the self-discipline and waiting . In hindsight, I should have just tested it out.

Since you didn't hold out, I'd just keep testing every AM and if it gets darker, then... I know, I am not nice. Total POAS pusher here, lol.

That's pretty much what I ended up doing, but then it looked a little lighter on 15dpiui than it did on 14dpiui and I felt a little worried-- but then I thought well maybe my urine was more concentrated the day before-- Ahhh the craziness we put ourselves through! The digital on 15dpiui said pregnant and I went in for a blood test and it came back 143!

So when do you get your results from todays draw?

Unless you're one who metabolizes the trigger REALLLLLYYYYY slowly, I'd say you're pregnant!

Can't wait to hear about the second beta.

Try and not analyze the lines. I know, easier said than done. I did it myself. LOL.
