Does anyone live in/near Mead?

Hello to all,

My family and I are finally moving to Colorado! We put our house on the market almost two months ago and are under contract now. We have found a house in Mead and we will be arriving around the end of August. I just wanted to see if anyone lives in or near Mead. I know that this is a small town and I am assuming that Longmont will be my most frequent driving destination...although I think that there is a grocery store somewhere between the two.

I have four girls ages 1,3,5, and 7. we homeschool and I would love to meet some other mothers to hang out with.

We have a few homeschooling groups in the area. One of our groups is ColoradoNICHE. You can find it on Yahoo groups. We have park days and other events.

Hi! Welcome to the area. I live in Firestone - about the same distance away from Mead as Longmont. I have a 14 month old son, and plan to homeschool. His Shortness will need to grow up a little more before I can start that, however!
