I've made laundry soap before, both powdered and "liquid." I wash most things in cold water, and the powdered does not dissolve. The "liquid" worked well, but was more of a gel that I had to stir each time before using. With liquid laundry detergent getting insanely high in price, I want to make the time to make my own laundry soap again. I'm wondering if anyone has a recipe for a liquid laundry soap that does not gel? I have a Costco laundry container with a spout that's super convenient that I'd like to reuse if at all possible, but the gel would likely not come out through that spout very easily.

I have Borax, Washing Soda, Baking Soda, Ivory Soap, Fels Naptha, and Kirk's Castile Soap all in stock in the pantry to use for any recipe. Any suggestions?
