wait, am i in labor? *UPDATE* YES IT WAS! Our baby is here!

This is how clueless i am, but the last 1-2 hours, I've been having contractions. I felt "'weird" after dinner, like hot and weird and had to go to bed immediately. I felt better and did some laundry but I'm having painful getting more so contractions every 4 minutes or so. How can I do from false labor to contractions every 4 minutes? It's been going on for close to 2 hours... I'm having trouble with them not "hurting" enough, thanks pitocin....so I'm not sure what I should do....I can't lie down, it makes it worse. Leaning over my kitchen counter feels good...

: Thank GOD, I decided to leave the house and get to the hospital before the inlaws arrived! Driving 30 minutes in the rain, during transition squished in the front seat? Not fun. We arrived a little before 3am and Samuel William was born at 4:07, all natural in the birth tub. He weighed in a 9#10ounces and is 21.5 inches long. His shoulder did get stuck, which was complicated by a very tight an short cord wrapped firmly around his neck. He wasn't breathing when he came out so they had to cut his cord and give him some O2, but he pinked up quickly and is nursing great! We are going home later this afternoon. I have NO tears, no skid marks, nothing! Aside from some cramps I feel great! I simply cannot believe how fast it went. I'm so relieved though it's over!:

Oh I sure hope so. yes, I'm up to wonder if this is it... I feel so dumb even though I have 2 already. I hurt so bad down their and sooo much pressure that I can't lay down. I'm having contractions, but not timing them.

Ok, so is your baby moving a lot? I feel like she is moving into posititon or something and every movement puts lots of pain on my cervix...

I'm so miserable right now, they are really starting to hurt. My inlaws are on their way - Tminus 3 HOURS before they get here. I called the midwife. They are 3-4 minutes apart and getting worse. The baby was moving while I was in the tub an hour ago, kicking, I'm moving so much now I can't concentrate on if the babe is moving. I don't like to time them, but they went from 0 to what seems like every few minutes in the drop of a hat....

and now I'm starting to sweat through them. My dh is a nervous wreck... LOL

i hope this is it for you! :

Sounds exactly like how mine went, from irregular annoying contractions to "omg this is labor 4 min apart" contractions and he was born 3 hours later

I'm so excited for you! Yes, I made DH go to bed b/c he was getting annoying. Mine are so sporadic, like on top of each other and then a break. I think I'm going to give sleep another go and when I wake up I'll read your post about having your baby

ELV's!!!
