When do Pregnancy "side effects" go away?

As a first-timer who is a week away from my EDD, I'm curious to know how long after delivery all these "fun side effects" of pregnancy will disappear.
The swelling of feet/ankles and hands?
The heartburn?
The ligament and hip pains?
etc.?

It took about a week for my swelling to go away.

This was the first pregnancy I ever had any swelling, but it took about 3 days to go away.
Heartburn disappeared instantly.
Ligament and hip pain actually got worse for a week before it has slowly started getting better.

I'm still clumsy and dropping stuff though!

IME, swelling took 4-7 days, heartburn went away immediately (yippee!) and hip pain went away in 4-7 days.

i realized this morning that i hadn't touched tums since 7/16, the morn of my son's birth! give it a few days on everything else. good luck!

Most of my symptoms go away immediately (swelling takes a few days). I love that first meal after birth. I pick what I want and eat until I'm stuffed with no heartburn! :

I didn't have heartburn so I can't speak to that but my swelling was pretty mild in pregnancy and got much worse after. Now at 12 days pp it is almost gone. And all during pregnancy, I didn't lose any hair at all and I'm noticing now that I'm starting to lose hair again (just a few strands in the shower but it's noticeable because I really didn't lose any for nine months).

IME -

Never had swelling with any of my pregnancies, sorry, no help there.

Heartburn - Didn't have it with 1&2 but I get it mildly now. I'm glad to hear from PP that it goes right away! (I know that my morning sickness that I get all through my pregnancies goes away right away! I can't WAIT for that! LOL)

Ligament and hip pain - With DD I didn't have hip pain, but the ligament pain went away after a couple of days (but it did lessen each day). With DS, same thing. My hip pain went away right away. Hoping this is all the case this time, too! LOL

Pretty much within hours for me!

Right now I have a little pelvic pain, but not like SPD, it's more like light bruising cause she was posterior at first and held up on my pubic bone for a while. Other than that? I've been feeling pretty darn spiffy.
