Just a quick announcement, more birth details and photos will follow for those interested....
Our daughter was born Sunday morning at 1:15am. She arrived after about 25 hours of labor, luckily not all of that was the crazy, intense kind. She was 10 pounds, 1 ounce and 21 inches long -- a total shock to all of us, I have no clue where all that baby was hiding.
We got the beautiful birth that we wanted, I'm so happy that I've been home in my own bed all day today. My husband and our doula were a wonderful support team the entire time, I'm so grateful for both of them and our fabulous midwife! We're all doing well and enjoying our new baby!
I hope to write up the birth details soon and hopefully dh will bring me my camera card reader so I can see and share some of the pictures were taken!
