I just got back from an ultrasound to determine size and growth and much to my surprise there was barely any amniotic fluid in there. My midwife was called right away and told me that we are in danger of chord compression with how little fluid there is. She is calling anytime to tell me when to go in (if there is a bed ready) and we will be doing cervidil tonight and if that doesn't work it is on to the devil juice tomorrow (pitocin). I had my membranes swept this morning and have had a lot of plus and spotting, so maybe the cervidil will do the trick on it's own!
I am suddenly nervous about labor again, and feel like I was not quite ready since I am only 39W1D and #1 didn't come until 41/42 weeks. I am super excited to meet her though! Estimated weight was 8lbs 12oz...so we'll see. That'll be a ton better than the 10 lbs I had to do last time!
