Yes, I did.. She was wonderful. I had two prior c/sections before my homebirth. She considered everything carefully and agreed to take me as her client.
She was highly skilled and very experienced. I felt very well cared for and confident that she could handle anything.
: she was great
eta: I had traditional OB care until about 20 weeks.. when I was pressured into agreeing to a third section with no TOL, and then pressured into GBS test, that test where you drink the sugary drink and want to puke, eye ointment for the baby.. to which I kept saying.."if you are going to cut me open and take my baby out in a sterile field.. why do I need those things??" and never got an answer I was happy with.. So I terminated care and found my DEM. I did not shadow care with an OB, had no back up OB (I would have taken who was on call as no OBs here back up home births)
I live about 20 min by car to the nearest hospital, less time to get there in an ambulance..I wasn't worried..
