Pattern for this knit pilot style cap?

I was looking at this blog and I have been wanting to find a good pilot cap pattern like this. Does anyone know where I can find one like those beautiful hats?

I would buy about 10 of them from that Mama if I could afford them, but I'd love to knit some myself for this last babe.

I haven't made one, but here is one that looks almost just like those. I'd like to do 1 or 2 for the new bean due in Jan.

What about the heart hat by Elizabeth Zimmerman? It is in Knitting Workshop and is also available individually sometimes.

The hat has a cute heart on the back of the head, it is an easy pattern to work either in one color or with two complementary yarns.

Thanks ladies! I think I'm going to try the one Melissa posted first. I have some really yummy bamboo yarn hanging around....I wonder how that would work with that pattern.

Also, if anybody's still reading, how would I go about figuring out a newborn size? The one she has posted is 6-12 months and 12-18.

I really really want to knit these up in newborn!

That is so cute!

As far as sizing for a newborn, I'd probably just go down a size or two in needles, but I'm not very scientfic about it. And, I have a baby with a big head. At 3 I had to knit him adult sized hats!
