My DD, 4.5, cannot seem to get along with her 18 mo. old brother for anything. ANYTHING he has, she wants. She takes toys from him, intentionally provokes him, slams the door in his face, steals his food, etc. As an oldest sibling myself, I am sensitive to her desire to be left alone. I have said from day one that her room was her space, and he did not have to be allowed in there. Our rule has been that if she wants to be alone with something, she can go in her room or sit up at the kitchen table, but that if she is playing on the floor in the living room, her brother cannot be completely excluded. I will help distract him, get him his own XYZ, but she cannot expect him to totally leave him alone. I am so exhausted by this constant fight. If DS has something, DD wants it and snatches it. He screams, will try to bite her to get it back, she screams, etc. I am at my wits end and need some advice!

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.
