What's everyone working on. - Page 2

I can only work on one thing at a time, or else I won't finish anything!

I recently finished the Ostrich Plume baby bonnet and a Buddy Blanket from 101 Designer One-Skein Wonders.

Right now I have an Easy Peasy Tee on the needles - for me, b/c I never make anything for myself. This is also my first real garment! :

Next up - a Baby Surprise Jacket for a friend, socks for me, a ruffle scarf for DD, and a block afghan for my SIL.

I am a beginner so I only know how to knit square things, rectangle things and toques.

Right now I am knitting this blanket for the little one due in February. I also have a dishcloth on the go.

Once I'm done these I am going to pluck up my courage and try a wool soaker. I'm scared but I think I can do it if I concentrate and find easy-to-follow instructions.

Change of plan. I cast on for the Winter Twilight Mitts instead, free from Knitting Daily. They're yummy One skein handspun, one skein of grey alpaca.

My knitpicks order came! Now I can't wait to start something else, lol. I was good and put the yarn away until I finish a few thing. However, my knitting group is starting a KAL sweater so I'll be doing that soon.

WOW!! Everything sounds so nice!!
Im a new new new knitter...ive got two projects going

1) a beautiful super easy sweater for my aunt for xmas(pattern was on the yarn ball lol), stocking stitch, turtleneck with ribbed sleeves in a really nice green i think she'll love!!

2) a multi color sweater for ds with ribbing all up the middle and a hood(pattern was suppose to have a pocket, but I ain't no fool and im not going to give a pocket to a 2 year old, who knows what'll end up in there!!...
my dh(hes the REAL knitter in the family!!) was knitting the same pattern for the baby on the way, but now ds's sweater will be too small by then, so ill have to start a new one, ill prob give this one to a friend of mine whos expecting

then im going to start scarfs and hats for xmas presents as well

I have a diaper cover going. It's multi colored from Kool Aid dyed wool and is lookin' mighty nice so far, though I'm still struggling with short rows. I have a crochet blanket that was supposed to be for dh last yule, I'm really hoping I can get it done by this Yule ;-) I am experimenting with turning an old sweater into a pair of longies for my newest. I'm also working on some overalls for my newest but methinks I may have to start over. There are soooooo many things I want to do but all of my time seems to be focused on diapers and covers. Ds is growing so quickly and is a very large baby so he keeps growing out of them. So far he's grown out of like 5 covers and is only 3 months old! I wish I were a faster knitter.
