7 years difference! Age gap. - Page 2

Thank you for this thread!! My DS is 3.5 and I don't want another right now, but maybe someday. I think a big age gap is what is meant to be for my family, if I do decide to go beyond having an "only".

I have 3 brothers: 7, 11 and 13 years older. I loved it, for the most part! I think it was harder for my parents-as they had to try and find activities that would suit us all-and we were all at different stages. I think it allows for a really interesting relationship for you as a parent, and between siblings. I think it's too early to worry! I know my bro that was 7 when I was born was super stoked about the whole thing, and helped out a lot!
Good luck!

My sons are 6 years apart and get along famously so far! My older son and my daughter, on the other hand, are 4 years apart and bicker for something like 12 waking hours every day.

My sister and I are over 6 years apart, and we are best friends now that we're adults. We have a really, really good relationship. Of course we had some trying times when we were kids/teenagers, but I think all siblings do, regardless of age difference.

I have a 17yo, an almost 11yo and a 3yo.

The 17yo is out to college and love to have her brother(11) over for a day or spend an afternoon at the park with the 3yo. 11yo and 3yo are playing well together most of the time; it's just a challenge to homeschool with the 3yo around since she never nap and always want to be a part of what we do.

There were time when it was challenging but I think it's more of a stage in life (teenage) than an age difference

Oh! and many of DD1's toddler clothes are back in style so DD2 gets compliments for her unique look without spending.
