Can we discuss Minkee for a minute?

I see all of these 'luxury' diapers that are minkee. Now I love minkee- My kids have minkee blankets and I make minkee teddy bears and the minkee blankets for baby gifts (well hardly gift them because they are so dang spendy). But I have lots of minkee scraps. But it is polyester right? So maybe it just goes on the outside of the diaper? I think it would feel great on the bum- but pee would just run right off it..... Anyway- what are you all thinking as far as the minkee goes? I would like to use it- if there is some way that makes sense at all- since they would be pretty cute- I think it washes pretty well at least in blanket form.... not sure about the everyday diaper routine.....

I would use it as the outside cover only (I prefer natural fibers next to the skin)....but sewing minkee drives me crazy! I think I need a walking foot.

The walking foot is a good idea- I have never used mine on it- but I havn't had a problem either.
