subchorionic hemorrage....

I had an ultrasound this afternoon and while I am happy to report that we saw a heartbeat I am slightly concerned about the diagnosis I received of a subchorionic hemorrage. I was told that it appeared to already be clotting and resolving itself but I wondered if any one you have experienced this in previous pregnancies?

No but I hope someone can give you some advice.

I had one

With my first pregnancy, I had two episodes of bleeding due because of it, but it resolved on its own. If you have a bleeding episode, it can be scary, especially if you pass a big clot, but just stay calm and go in to get things checked out.

there is a mama (nighten) in the feb DDC that had a SCH and it resolved itself on it's own. this is her thread:

Not in your DD club but saw the post and wanted to tell you I had the same with my first DS after a disappearing twin and everything went smooth after that the whole pregnancy. I had a bit of spotting and betas that didn't double (due to the twin thing) but he was born 8 lbs 4 oz at 41 wks . Hopefully everything resolves on it's own

Thanks, everyone! I feel better about it already!

I have an appt for a follow up u/s in 2 weeks and I'm going to take it easy until then and hope that it continues to heal (the sonographer said it looked like it was already healing well and I haven't had much spotting the past 2 days and none the past 24 hours).

I'm mostly disappointed that I have ended up with another pregnancy with complications. I really was looking forward to continuing my exercise and yoga routines and now I feel like its back to the couch and watching Dawsons Creek reruns for me! Heh.
