Is Chacha running really slow today? Last night I was fielding questions left and right but today the categories aren't even loading for me to pick which one the question fits into.

Quick Links were down for a while earlier, but they should be back up. There have been some system issues with the new upgrades, which has been slowing down traffic...but the new system is worth it, and hopefully it'll be worked out soon. If you stop getting queries, log out and back in.

Ok, I got my 10 in, but what happens about the very first one that I aborted? It was a question that I spent 10 minutes on and just could not find the answer. It was something that seemed like it should have been relatively easy to find too, so I just hit abort. Hopefully that won't ruin my chances of becoming a guide.

Also, many of my questions were duplicates. I wasn't sure if they counted, so I just kept answering until I had done at least 10 different questions. Does anyone know if duplicates count as seperate questions in your 10 "test" questions?

So as an independent contracter for Chacha, do you take out taxes and pay them quarterly? I'm such a tax dummy that I'm scared off from work like this...

So, I got my email tonight and am currently ChaCha'ing away! It is slightly addictive to see the questions that people ask.

it didn't work for me i did the first test then they told me my 'scores didn't match' even though they sent me a 'test' and then to log in but told me the acct was suspended confusing indeed. but who knew that you had to know what cha cha was about when filling out the test !

Anyways, I did find great ways of getting money back while shopping at stores online besides being more savings than in stores!

I have been a guide for a few months and love it. I have also made Top Guide for the last 5 weeks.
I made a list of helpful tips and hints to improve search time if you are interested. I would love to send it to you all, but I am now on vacation. But I pm'd it to a bunch of mama's on here so maybe one of them can pass it along.

I think there are some system issues that they are working out. The same thing happened to me yesterday. Go to the ChaCha website and under "contact us" you can leave them feedback and let them know.

Yeah,they started a bunch of new system stuff and it still has some bugs. They are fixing them and it will imporove.

I am ChaCha'ing away! Is anyone else doing the 120 answers tonight for the bonus? I am trying to do it. Have 12 so far. Quite a long way to go. I am still not sure this is worth it. I am going to give it a week and see what my earnings are...

Well, I'm not a guide, I'm an expeditor, but I earn around 5.50 an hour.

What exactly does an expeditor do?

The ones that get the questions first, put them in a certain category and give them correct spelling, then send them on to the guides. It's a new position they came up with in the past month. Pay is .05 per question.

I wish! Pay is .02 a question with a .01 quality encentive.

I keep logging in to do my 10 questions, and as soon as i log in another window opens up telling me that my log-in failed....but it shows me as logged in im so confused

So frustrated that it keeps crashing. I wanted to make the extra incentive cash tonight, but I can't stay up much longer, and the questions have stopped yet again. *sigh* Ah well. 5 hours and $8 in my account. Definitely not looking like it is worth the time and effort involved.

It will get better...once you get used to it and get faster (and make top guide), you can make between $8 and $10 an hour. Make sure you get your bank account set up ASAP, because it can take about a month to get all of the paperwork done and the account activated before you can get paid.
