Any experience with selling old gaming systems?

Do you think that old gaming systems would go on Craigslist? Ours really sucks here, quite honestly, but I might give it a go if it'd be worth it. I have a Nintendo 64, Sega Genesis, and original playstation (so far, there might be more in those boxes, yay decluttering lol). Only a few games but they seem to have all their wires and such.

Check Best Buy's website. DH "sells" items back to them. They have a list on their website of what items they accept and how much they offer for them. They pay for you to ship the item to them, also.

Craigslist would be the best place to sell them, I imagine. But honestly, you won't get much. If you are planning buying different systems or games your best bet would be to trade them in at a place like Gamestop, for store credit.

We buy vintage games and systems periodically. Pawn shops will take them sometimes. (I am not suggesting you pawn anything, just sell it to them outright).

Many people sell them on ebay.

Bookmans took ours, paid a decent amount too but you need to have all the wires, accessories etc.

I think stores like Gamestop,(there are other ones too) which sell used video games, will buy them back and you get either store credit or cash...they give you more $$ if you do instore credit though.
Craigslist might be an option, as is ebay.

I sold our old ones on Craigslist. I was VERY surprised at how many emails I got about them. It was just an old nintendo and games and then an old sega and games. We made good money for a box full of stuff that had been sitting in the basement for years.

Ebay. I sold some old ps1 games on there for as much as $60 (that was a Final Fantasy game that's in high demand). But it depends on what you have. They are getting to be like 'classics' these days.

I have a very large vintage game collection - mostly because they are so very cheap on the second-hand market.

99% of N64 games and systems are basically worthless in the after-market
Some Genesis games are worth something, but not many.

There are about 3 PS1 games that are worth selling, the PS1 system is almost always worthless.

I'm not surprised at the interest. The new gaming systems are too fast and complicated for me. I've only got 10 fingers, and some of these controllers have 12 or 15 buttons on them!!!!
