Rock me baby

I have this show on, albeit a very stupid show, called "rock me baby". It's on UPN. Anyway, it starts out the couple and their baby ( a few months old) walk into a movie theater. PEople growl when the ysee the babe and she yells "he is a great baby, you just feed him and he stays quiet". She then proceeds to "breastfeed"-well attempt to-the baby. (She nuzzles him to breast and covers with a blanket. Anyway, the baby starts crying cause he isn't hungry. People yell "get a sitter" and her response "We would but he won't take a bottle!" I was impressed! Dumb? YES! But a breastfeeding Mom and the mention of a child who doesn't -or won't-take a bottle, that is unheard of on American tv....

So kudos to UPN.

That's so funny, dh and I just about never watch TV, but tonight the children both went to bed early (a miracle) so we sat to watch something mindless while we ate dinner.

That show was on - and I almost switched over as I was awaiting the bottle of formula. I almost fell off the couch when she went to breastfeed.

Dh was irritated by the blanket over the baby's head, but I was just soooooo impressed that she was breastfeeding!

Now, later in the show she was drinking a big glass of wine with dinner, but maybe she was pumping and dumping LOL. I was waiting for the comment about no wine for her due to breastfeeding, but it didnt come.

A stupid show, but for once, no bottle in sight.
