Hi Ladies,
Sorry to be so absent, but I have been quite busy the past few days. Lillian Helen arrive at 8:28 pm on Wednesday, July 23rd- exactly 3 weeks after she was due!
It might be a while before I write up my birth story, but here is the short- water broke at 2:30 am on Tuesday after my very first contraction- in the back. I immediately started contractions (all in the back) that were 5 mins apart, so basically I was in active labor for 40 1/2 hours before I started pushing for 3 1/2 for a total of 40 hours.
She was 9 pound 15 oz and 21 1/4 inches long- and perfect!! I will post more later, but now she needs to eat.
