No TV ~ our house is still the place to be!!!!

In spite of the fact that we don't watch TV, our house is still "the place to be" for the kids in the neighborhood this summer ! Right now, in addition to my 3, there are 4 other kids (aged 3, 6, 8, and 9) playing happily. There is a "store" under my stairs, a "toy shop" behind the big easy chair, and DS is showing one friend how to clean old pennies with ketchup ! There is no TV, not even any music on, yet everyone is happy and engaged. It's been this way all summer long. I only have 2 rules ~ all food stays in the kitchen, and no excluding anyone for any reason. See.... kids don't need TV to have a great time! Left to their own devices, it's amazing what they will come up with .

Actually, sounds like my house! LOL
We always seem to end up with multiple children here.

It's the vinegar in the ketchup. It removes tarnish.
