After having a csection about 1.5 years ago, our little girl arrived on July 21 at home!
I was 40w4d and she weighed 8 lbs. It was the most amazing, beautiful, and peaceful experience I have ever had! I decided to have this baby at home at 36 weeks. God is so good!
Quick info: I labored most of Sunday and that night with light bhs/ contractions about 10-15 minutes apart. On Monday, light bhs/contractions continued (I thought all along they were just bhs). They intensified throughout the day and birthed her around 645 that night. When I was pushing, it was the most emotional experience- I knew that I would be meeting my little one very soon! I couldn't wait to hold her. I wanted her safe and healthy. I thank God that it was a beautiful and positive experience, I'm still floating when I think about it. I just replay the birth over and over again in my head. It was truly amazing! Thanks for everyone's support!
