Good idea, or really dumb idea? - Page 2

We have one, but sadly, my dc grew bored of it in about a week

We got one for Christmas a couple of years ago, specifically so it would be what was jumped on, not the couch. We bought it at a sporting goods store, and it was OK for a while. However, the cover over the springs ripped quickly, and I was very uncomfortable with the exposed metal spring edges. It now lives in the garage and isn't much in demand. Was interesting for maybe 2-3 months. But then, we live in So CA so the kids can always play outside and they do gymnastics with big tramps all the time, so maybe it was just us.

I never had safety concerns about it until the cover started to rip.

We have one and use it almost daily. Ours has a handle which was great at first, but lately I wish it didn't have a handle because DS likes to jump up and push the handle to tilt the trampoline as he's in the air. We have a tile floor too and placed a thick rug under the trampoline.

I've never seen them in stores....?

I'm sure it could be ordered online, but the shipping might be high?

To those who bought them, where did you get them?

I paid $25 on ebay for ours. I am a cheapo.

you can get them at Target and places like that, too. We have one waiting to be put together, but most of them come together.

A good friend of mine has had one of these for years, she got it when she had all tile floors. She loves it, and it's always the first thing my kids want to play with when we visit.

Go for it
