I know it's totally normal for them to get the shivers sometimes. They might be cold, or might have that falling reflex, but Bodie shivers like this ALL the time. If I'm feeding him or cuddling him then he's fine, but if he's laying down somewhere then he gets them off and on. Only for a second or two and then it goes away, but why is this happening?? The pedi said it's fine and not to worry, but I still am. I don't remember this happening with the others this often, sometimes but not this often?? I try to cuddle him lots when it happens, but does this happen to anyone else's little babe??

Juli's bottom lip quivers like she is cold quite often. Its because of their immature nervous system. Babies do everything possible to make us worry more, don't they!!

I've never really thought there was a neuro problem, but i guess that makes sense. His bottom lip doesn't shiver so much but his whole body, and it only happens when he's NOT up against our bodies. I mean, nursing, being held, co-sleeping, all that he's good. When he's sitting/laying in his bouncer seat so I can eat or shower or for what ever reason he will occasionally shiver or shake. DH said it was probably an immature nervous system too. I hope so, cause that's scary!!

My DS1 did that every time he tinkled! Like a quick little shiver would run down his whole body. He's almost three now and will still have an occasional shiver but there is absolutely nothing wrong with him.
