maybe she'd been drinking fluffy ducks or raspberry lemonade for hours? hope so.

Pubs in Australia are often family oriented , they usually have a 'lounge' where you can get meals and sit at tables and take children along and a 'public bar' which is where the men sit on bar stools, smoke and drink beer. Some pubs even have children's playgrounds like at McDonalds. But seems like this family was in the public bar.

A fluffy duck is a delicious concoction of Advocaat and Sprite. When you add the Sprite, it 'fluff's' up. Advocaat is a low alcohol liqueur, ~ 30 proof, made from egg yolks, comes from Holland.

It's considered an old ladies drink. My family used to let me drink it when I was a kid - a very diluted version as a treat. Yummy.
