Daily 7/27 (for those of us who are left...)

This is getting to be a very small club!
Yesterday I had lots of cramping and discomfort with the baby really low, but nothing I thought was timeable. No mp, no spotting.
How's everyone else doing?
(I'm 40w2d today)

i am also 40w2d! everything feels different today- pressure, pressure! but i think this baby is waiting for the new moon (all 3 of my others were born right at the new moon).

we are going on errands today far from home to see if that does anything, lol!

I'm still here. 40+1 and nada.
Still here, still nothing too exciting going on. I'm 39+5 today.

Here I'm with 40w2d. I been having PROM for about 3 months and nada.Three weeks ago, I was in labour 3 times and after 3-5 hour of timeable ctx the party was over.:: Actually, I'm living the most quiet days in months. Otherwise, I feel my baby very very low, sometimes I think I going to having him in a push.

Still here as well. 40+2. Not much going on. Contractions start up at night, not timeable, just random, and poop out by morning most days for the last week or so. Baby is head down, but not dropped.

I want to go walk and walk and walk today to see if that gets me anywhere, but the heat is not too motivating. :

39+4 here. Frustrated. Every symptom in the book aside from holding a baby (and no water breakage or really painful ctrx). With all these signs in my last 2 pg's I would be in heavy labour by now! I realize I'm not technically overdue, but I am exhausted (at night is when things usually pick up) and my pelvic bone hurts so much that I look like a bull rider when I walk.
can someone reassure me that there would be no medically wrong reason for labour to start and stop like this (Ie, the baby isn't in a wonky position, etc)? He moves just fine so i know he is okay.
I am almost ready to jump on the castor oil train but under what circumstances will it work? I am already dilating etc (so I've stopped the epo and don't really see the benfits of sex aside from the orgasm :-)) and I have had a good "bowel cleanse" a couple days ago so I don't see it being because I am backed up or anything.....I have had emotional meltdowns, bursts of energy and cleaning spurts, everyone is on holidays so work isn't an issue for anyone!.....really there is nothing left but to push this little guy out! Cmon baby everyone is waiting!!!

Thinking of all you mamas waiting *patiently* to hold those little babes. You're doing such a wonderful job gestating those wee ones!!!

40 wks today. I have the same thing, contractions kick off at night and then nothing. The night before last I really thought it was time steady ctx until they were 2 min apart at 2:30 am. They kept up and I called my midwife, my mother in law, and all the people who wanted to be there. But, by 9am they stopped.
Hulajen- have you tried hanging out on hands and knees with your posterior in the air and your head lower? It might help get that little one off the back of your pelvis.

The club is getting smaller. Good luck mamas!

Still here and pregnant. I've pulled out the birth ball as sitting pretty much anywhere else isn't comfortable. One problem though, when I get up I can't walk! I probably should sit there as long as I am... I have more pain down below, more back pain, a little more clear mucous, but nothing else. I'm sick of analyzing it and I'm sick of being pregnant still.

I am honestly getting worried about size, thanks media and public opinion, how on earth delivering a 6 lb 10 oz babe last time will I be able to do over 9 lbs?! Naturally!? I know I can do it, but it is getting harder to be confident the longer I go...and why is it I cry over the fact I'm still preggo?? I was so happy every day to be pregnant another day just a couple of weeks ago and now I'm just sick of worrying about everything - especially when will it happen...

Jenn, you are so close! I have always heard that castor oil will not work unless your labor is imminent. I can't think of many more signs that labor is imminent for you. I know you aren't technically due, but you could give it a try - as long as you accept it might just make you poo a bunch

still here. 39w3d

nothing exciting to report either.

40w today and nothing! Apparently my little guy didn't get the memo! I actually feel really good which makes me worry that he's hunkered down in there for at least another week or two.. I wish I was showing some sign of something happening!!!

Sending everyone go into labor vibes!!!

Yep still here too. 40w2d and same as others, contractions start up at night, but nothing timeable. Also lots of menstrual cramping and after laying in bed or sitting on the ball I feel like baby is so low I can barely walk to the bathroom.

I keep going to bed hoping that I will wake up in the middle of the night in labor, but then I wake in the morning and am so disappointed to not have had that happen, and feel actually ok, no signs, nada.

still here. different mom, same story. Not much happening, except at night, and then it goes away. Blah. I'm having a hard time coming onto this board, i just feel sort of lonely and left out.

Sending love, light & peace to each of you!

I know its kind of late in the day but I just wanted to stop in and say I'm still in the club. I think I'm 39+3 (I'm due on the 31st and I don't feel like trying to figure out if that's right....lol) I've been pretty comfortable except for some light cramping that comes on momentarily and then goes away for hours and hours.

I met the other back up OB Friday (my OB is on vacation) and she seemed like she'd be ok to have during labor. I have to meet with again next Thursday (my due date!) if I'm still pregnant. The only thing that worries me is that she seems to have "big baby" phobia a little bit, and she wants to check me next time. I haven't had any checks so far so I'm not sure I'll agree to it.

So for now I'd like to wait untill 8/4 or after so that my OB is back and I can be sure to have someone to watch the other two. The friend of ours who is supposed to watch the kids while we go to the hospital is taking some advanced Masters classes and has to be at campus all next week (the rest of the course is all online).

But I guess in the end its all up to baby and we'll just figure something out.

39w5d here, and I thought last night was it--mucus plug, bloody show, and contrax for most of the night. Nope, petered out by morning. I do know she's at -1, and as of yesterday morning, I was dilated about a fingertiip.

We'll see what tonight brings.

39 weeks today. I've never been "this pregnant"! Both my others came at 38 weeks! (I know a week isn't much, but kind of funny that after all the PTL this LO is my "latest" baby! ) I've been having contractions off and on all day. Three of them (30 minutes apart) I had to breath through as they were VERY uncomfy, but it was just those three and then they went back to all over the board! I thought for a bit there that she MIGHT decide to come on her own, but guess not - at least not yet! Oh well. If she doesn't, tomorrow is the day! Best of luck to everyone if I don't pop in before she gets here!

I'm due end of August.. I think from now on my due date is September 6th lol or that's what I'm going to tell myself. Hang in there ladies.. I'll need your support in a few weeks too
