Hello all! I am Carol.. I have been dealing with infetilty for four years now. So far our infertility issues are unexplained.... which sucks. I was torn between wishing something was wrong (because it could be fixed) and hoping nothing was wrong (no one really wants something wrong with them). So far the docs haven't been able to pinpoint why we can't conceive. But, anyway.. I thought I would post a quick intro!

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.
Can I join you ladies?

Welcome Carol!
I too had unknown IF for a long time so I know the pain of not knowing. We didnt get any answers until we underwent our first IVF cycle. During that cycle they were able to pinpoint the reasons for our IF...
1) My Dh only had 3% normal sperm (even though he had over 5 SA done while we were TTC, and everything came back WELL above normal) During IVF they do a VERY VERY STRICT SA, I believe its called the Kruger Method (or something like that) and they found out that way that he had low morph that was initially undetected.
2) They found that the ZONA (shell) on my eggs is SUPER thick (even though I'm only 27) I produce a TON of eggs on fertility meds but all of them have a thick shell, this makes it difficult for sperm to get INTO the egg and also difficult for the embryo to HATCH out once it is fertilized.
So both problems combined it is going to be hard (but not impossible) for us to get pregnant on our own. I'm not telling you this to suggest that these are your proplems, but rather to let you know there is light at the end of the tunnel. Hopefully they will be able to figure out your type of IF and have a quick and easy solution for it. IVF was ours, but hopefully yours is a lot more simple. Again, Welcome to the group

Aly-
Thank you for sharing your story! Dh and I naturally conceived two children together, so it's a bit odd that we are experiencing secondary infertilty with no known issues.
We just keep hoping and praying that one day I will wake up pregnant, and we will have many more children. LOL!
Congrats on your twins!
